What is pioneering ?. It comprises building such things as towers, bridges, aerial runways, rafts and gateways using ropes, timber spars, and pulleys. You need skills in tying lashings and knots, and often brute strength to erect your construction.
In our group, favourite activities are an aerial runway (because we have the necessary equipment), rope bridges and rafts.
Safety is a key factor, because if things collapse or people fall off, there could be a accident. For example, you must follow the Aerial Runway Code .
