This is a draft programme, some of the later events may change. Definite activities are in BOLD. Check the Home Page for latest news. Meetings are usually 8pm to 10pm. Explorer Nights are planned and run by the Explorers, Leaders Nights planned by the Leaders. An "outdoor night" means wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear. In the Winter, bring a torch.

- Tues June 16th - Slovenia 2009 Planning Night 7-30 Scout HQ.
- Parents welcome to ask questions 8-30pm onwards.
- Thurs June 18th - Cooking Night.
- District Camp and Water Activities Camp (Aldwark) forms and cheques MUST be returned on this evening.
- Sun June 21st - Helping at the Leeds Run-for-All 10k Race.
- We need to meet at the Scout HQ at 7 am, or if it's more convenient 7-30am in Millenium Square, Leeds. No need for uniform as you will get event t-shirts to wear (and keep). Return back about 12-30pm. Bring some food and drink to keep you going.
Our task is to help get Millenium Square ready, and then to remove the timing chips from runners' shoes at the end of the race. This is a really good service, as you are helping nearly 10,000 runners raise £100,000's for cancer-related charities. (Bill, Laura and Josh are running in the event.) - Thurs June 25th - Water night Please meet at 7-30pm. Back at 10pm.
- You must bring spare clothes in which you can get wet, and a towel.
- Thurs July 2nd - Wide games and help at Bramham Park.
- Please meet at the Scout HQ at 7pm or make your own way to Bramham by 7-30pm.
- Fri - Sat 3rd/5th July - District Camp, Bramham Park.
- Forms must be back by 18th June.
- Thurs July 9th - Cycle ride
- Fri - Sat 10th/12th July - Water Activities Camp, Aldwark.
- Forms must be back by 18th June.
- Thurs July 16th - Beach party
- Thurs July 23rd - Barbecue night
- Thurs July 30th - Night hike. Back on Friday morning.
- Thurs Aug 6th - Slovenia 2009 Final Preparations
- Fri Aug 7th - Advanced car party leaving for Slovenia, Late evening.

- Kenya 2010
- Every 2 years the County organises a trip to Kenya for Explorers and network members. More information soon at the county web site.
- Sweden 2011
- The next international jamboree will be held in Sweden, July 2011. You can now apply to take part either as Explorer Scouts or as leaders. More information at the county web site.
